AAUW Red Wing Branch Citizen of the Year Award 2014

Shannon Sullivan-Hanson is employed by Minnesota State College – Southeast Technical in Red Wing, Minnesota where she assists students with financial aid and provides other student support services. She contributes to her community by serving with Habitat for Humanity – Woman Build Executive Team where she provided leadership for fundraising and volunteer coordination for the construction of a home for a family of three.  She also serves as the Sister Cities Commission Chairperson for Red Wing with sister cities in Japan and China. She is the Co-Chair of the Brave New Girls Steering Committee. Shannon was recognized by the American Association of University Women Red Wing Branch with the AAUW Citizen of the Year Award 2014 for her contribution as an active citizen. She is an active member of the www.nationalstrategicnarrative.org community and inspires us with all of her accomplishments which she pursues with creativity, intellect, and hard work.
